PROGRAM NOTES

 

Lights, sparks, and movement are all important ingredients in this playful, whimsical piece, written to be performed both as a concert work or with dancers. The cellist and the pianist themselves interweave with and overlap each other like the dancers they imagine accompanying. Feat.
